This customizable sailing charter blends relaxation, adventure, and top-notch dining into one incredible experience. Ready to embark on the trip of a lifetime? Let’s set sail! The cruise will begin in either Savannah or Charleston depending on Honu’s location at the time of the booking. Price includes on board breakfast/lunch/snacks, one dinner aboard Honu, non-alcoholic beverages, and fuel. On shore dining/activities and favorite alcoholic beverages are the responsibility of the guests.
Day 1: Set Sail from Savannah*
Kick off your adventure with an early arrival in Savannah! Stroll down charming River Street, hop on a trolley tour, or just soak up the history before stepping aboard Honu. After a quick safety orientation (and a welcome cocktail, of course!), we’ll toast to the journey ahead. That evening, enjoy a short walk to Tortugas Island Grill for a laid-back seafood dinner. Then, settle in for your first cozy night floating on the calm waters of the Intracoastal Waterway.
Day 2: Savannah to Bluffton – Kayaks & Southern Charm
After a leisurely breakfast on board, we’ll set sail for Bluffton. Enjoy a smooth 4-hour cruise, basking in the natural beauty along the way. Once we anchor, take a kayak out into the tranquil tidal creeks or explore Bluffton’s historic streets, boutiques, and museums. That evening, treat yourself to a gourmet meal at The Pearl Kitchen and Bar—one of the town’s top dining spots.
Day 3: Bluffton to Beaufort – A Step Back in Time
A new day, a new adventure! Sail toward the charming town of Beaufort, where history and Southern hospitality meet. Along the way, relax on deck with a book or simply soak in the view. Once in Beaufort, you can explore the historic waterfront, tour magnificent antebellum homes, or hop on a guided golf cart tour. In the evening, sip cocktails on board before taking a short dinghy ride to Fishcamp Waterfront Restaurant for a fresh seafood feast.
Day 4: Beaufort to Mystery Anchorage – Nature’s Retreat
Time to unwind in one of the most peaceful spots along our journey! As we sail north, keep an eye out for playful dolphins and stunning marshland scenery. We’ll drop anchor in a secluded spot, perfect for kayaking or birdwatching—keep an eye out for herons and bald eagles! Dinner tonight is a special one—locally sourced seafood prepared right on board. Afterward, relax in the cockpit and take in the breathtaking night sky, far away from city lights.
Day 5: Mystery Anchorage to Charleston – The Grand Finale
Our last day of sailing brings us into the lively waters of Charleston Harbor. Enjoy the transition from serene nature to the vibrant buzz of this historic city. Once docked, explore Charleston at your own pace—wander through the cobblestone streets, maybe take a carriage tour, before our final celebratory dinner at the restaurant of your choice.
Day 6: Farewell & Bon Voyage!
Enjoy a final breakfast on board before saying goodbye to Honu. Take one last deep breath of that salty sea air and cherish the unforgettable memories you’ve made!
